Vegan Dark Chocolate Crunch
Who can resist velvety taste of 70% dark chocolate topped with nuts, seeds, or dried fruit? Try one of our healthy light bark variations below or experiment with your own favorite ingredients.
Chop nuts and mix in a bowl with dried fruits and shredded coconut.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, stirring constantly until all the chocolate has melted. Remove from heat.
Add millet puffs or any other puffed cereal and mix until they are covered.
On a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper, spread small quantities of the chocolate puff mixture. Sprinkle with the fruit and nut mix and let stand at room temperature for approximately 1 hour.
Can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature.
Substitute almonds, cranberries and pumpkin seeds with goldenberries and mango for an exotic flavour or with goji berries and raw pistachios for a colourful and flavourful mix.
