Looking for a quick, healthy and naturally sweet snack? These apple energy balls are the perfect pick-me-up before a workout, at the office or as a wholesome treat. Made with Medjool dates, crunchy nuts, dried apples and warming spices, they come together in minutes and keep well in the fridge.

Ingredients

½ cup PRANA organic raw almonds

½ cup PRANA organic raw walnuts

10 PRANA Medjool dates, pitted

¼ cup PRANA organic finely grated coconut

1 tsp PRANA whole black chia seeds

1 tsp PRANA hemp seeds

½ cup dried apples
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
½ tsp ground cardamom (optional)

1 pinch sea salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
Place almonds and walnuts in a food processor. Pulse until roughly chopped.
Add the remaining ingredients and process until the mixture forms a sticky dough. It should hold together when pressed between your fingers.
Roll into bite-sized balls with your hands and place on a parchment-lined tray.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
