The Ultimate Antioxidant Fix
Here’s my go-to recipe for a tasty chocolate smoothie! I like to prep this in the morning before beginning any day that requires an increased amount of concentration. I made the choice to give up coffee 13 years ago, so this smoothie is my way of consuming foods that give me the energy and focus that I need! The mix of cardamom and cinnamon lend a fresh aroma and delicious taste that compliments the other ingredients. Bust out your blenders and get to mixing up this glass of fresh air!
2 tbsp PRANA organic hazelnut butter
1 ½ cup water
¼ cup frozen blueberries
2 tbsp PRANA organic raw cacao powder
1 tbsp carob powder
1 tsp PRANA organic raw maca powder
1 tsp PRANA organic whole chia seeds
½ tsp organic fair trade ground Ceylon true cinnamon
Seeds from 1 cardamom pod
Mix all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Enjoy chilled.
If you use a fresh banana and blueberries instead of frozen, I suggest adding some ice in the blender for a refreshing smoothie.
