Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Covered Almonds
Here's a quick and easy recipe to make when you have that sudden chocolate craving. Because it's so easy and effortless, it makes a great last minute gift idea for the chocolate addict in your family. Simply place in a Mason jar and tie with a ribbon! Almonds can be substituted with any nut and you can throw in your favourite dried fruits to switch up this recipe.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a double-boiler and stir to combine.
Put the almonds in a bowl. Pour the melted chocolate over the almonds and mix until completely coated.
Spoon small clusters of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle sea salt on top.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
